Kenneth Chukwuemeka Asogwa (born July 17, 2005), who is professionally know as "De Catamon" sometimes called Catamon in short, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born and raised in Nsukka, Enugu state, Nigeria. He is also knows as Lil Boz as his Nickname. As a songwriter, De Catamon has written so many songs including his released and unreleased projects, after time he realized he could make money not just from writing and singing but also from writing and selling to other artists. In February 2023, he began releasing music under the artist name "Emmy Dollar" through Afro Tunes digital distribution platform. After the platform shut down, he released his next song through Umijam Distribution, marking the beginning of his rebrand under a new artist name, "De Catamon." From that point on, he has continued releasing music as De Catamon under his own independent label, C-Nation Records Ltd. In September 2023, he released his first single No Love with the artist name "De Catamon". De Catamon studied Electrical engineering at Government Technical College Nsukka (GTCN). De Catamon's parents are business man and woman. De Catamon is the Oldest of five siblings. In September 2023 De Catamon released his second single "Head Lock". In December 2023, De Catamon released his first album of all time "Down To Soul" with total of ten tracks including "Attention, Sin, Relationship, Rihanna, Party, Do It, My Woman, Nobody, Ginger and So Jeje". In 2024, De Catamon had the release of his first EP "Money and Love" after which he released "Ya Body" a single release which made him gain recognition in his home town. His "Money and Love" EP has total of five tracks including collaboration with Emmzy Chris on two tracks "Loner and Desire" while the other solo tracks are "Ability, Soso and Fina". In February 2025 De Catamon released his first single of the year titled "Billion Dollars" which he later released another single titled "Trench Kid" a collaboration with Leazybaby21 on 23rd June 2025.
